The time right now is 17:40 Arizona time, 2 hours and 23 minutes since the biggest catastrophe to hit the music scene in history. Being the biggest fan of Slipknot in the WORLD! Fact and travelling with Joey and Corey (a few cars behind) i sadly witnessed the death of Slipknot. Travelling down West Thomson Road, Phoenix Arizona towards an upcoming rock scene venue the Range Rover Joey and Corey was in crashed into an inter-state bus.
Myself (Big Dave) and owner of Rock Nation set up the event for the two legends to officially open the venue and welcome more business. Somehow this tragedy happened and a few blocks away and panic burst out. First aiders travelling with us rushed to the scene and police cleared a path for an ambulance. There has been nothing official announced other than one of the member died and another is stable and on the way to the hospital, sadly i only saw them take Joey in the back of the ambulance. Corey is presumed dead upon impact. Once again nothing official has been said but put 2 and 2 together and its pretty obvious as well as fucking tragic. 2 people on the bus (like anyone cares) are injured and have also been sent to hospital but Joey was cut out the Range Rover and escorted to Phoenix state hospital as soon as he was free, as for Corey the last we saw before being moved along was no effort and the police, firemen and paramedics doing fuck all for him. This day the 2/10/ 2012 will be remembered as one of the saddest days in music history and regardless what happens now nothing will ever replace the amazing talent that was Corey and depending on Joey's injuries he may never play again. Keep an eye out on here for more info, as soon as i learn more i will post another article and lets all pray for both Joey and Corey. In Arizona we are a highly religous state and regardless what others think these are one of few bands who would have the time for us, so please pray for them.
